PHUKET: Construction of the long-awaited B6-billion Kathu-Patong tunnel could well begin as early as next year if the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) gets approval, according to Aiyanat Tinapai, Governor of the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT).
